Dr. Lee Dockins will focus on men’s horomones optimization and weight loss, while also leading the introduction f peptide therapies and PRP treatments to expand our service offerings and bring innovative, cutting-edge care to our community. In addition to these specialties, he will maintain a small primary care panel to stay connected to direct patient care. His primary role, however, will be able to provide expert consultation and co-management support, working closely with our internal team as well as collaborating with external providers to ensure patients receive comprehensive, coordinated, and high-quality care. Dr. Lee Dockins first joined us in 2016 and served our patients faithfully until early 2020. Since then he has helped launch an urgent care clinic for a long-time colleague, supported a growing practice in Las Vegas, spent time practicing in Ridgway, and most recently have been working in urgent care in Craig, CO. With deep roots in this region and a home in Ridgway, he has returned to the area full-time—and to our team.

Isaac Klostermann is a licensed physician assistant in the state of Colorado. He began practicing internal medicine in the Denver metro area in September of 2012 where he worked until transitioning to family medicine at Peak in June of 2016 to present.

He graduated with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies with pediatric emphasis at the University of Colorado in 2012. Previously, he graduated from Colorado State University with both a four-year bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health in 2008 and a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2009.

Hauna received a bachelor’s degree in Biology and then her master’s as a Physician Assistant at Wichita State University. I always knew I wanted to be in the medical field. My dad is a pharmacist and growing up I had health issues and spent a lot of time at Children’s Mercy. Throughout my own personal medical journey, it instilled in me a compassion to truly understand what my patients are going through. My favorite quote is “Without suffering there wouldn’t be compassion.”

Dr. Sommer grew up in a small town in Kansas and completed medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She then moved out west to Phoenix, AZ where she completed her family medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine at Phoenix. Prior to coming to Montrose she had been providing full spectrum family medicine care at Kansas University Medical Center. She and her husband are very excited to build their life here in Montrose.

She believes in long term relationships and building a foundation of trust with her patients. Her medical interests include caring for all ages, women’s health (including IUD and nexplanon procedures), LGBTQ+ including gender care, preventative health, acute care, and chronic disease management.

When not in clinic Dr. Sommer can be found somewhere outside with her dogs, playing recreational sports, or playing video games with her husband.

Dr. Adams is trained in the specialty of Family Medicine. He can take care of all ages, all conditions, and all severities. He has a background in engineering and was successful in his first career until he had a calling to improve lives. At that time, he decided to attend medical school. Dr. Adams started practicing in Delta. He currently has over 10 years of experience as a Doctor in Colorado.

Dr. Adams Started with Peak Family Medicine in December 2017. He likes learning new things and taking on new challenges. Family Medicine gives Dr. Adams the chance to practice all types of medicine while helping others have a better Quality of life.
